What the shortlist is weighted on
Guest rating quality carries 45 points, review confidence 20, location fit 15, confirmed stay features 10 and category breadth 10. A property with a high score and a thin review base cannot reach the top on rating alone, which is the point.
The result is that Bardessono Hotel and Spa leads on 85.8 and North Block Hotel follows on 84.9, both combining strong ratings with village positions and full facility lists. Churchill Manor reaches 81.8 on a 9.8 rating with a walkable downtown Napa position and almost no facilities at all.
