About Napa Valley Chateau Hotel

What we do

We help travelers choose where to stay in Napa Valley by combining real hotel data, location intelligence and editorial selection. Our aim is not to list more hotels than anyone else. It is to make the choice between them clearer.

We hold 61 properties across Napa, Yountville, Rutherford, St. Helena and Calistoga. Thirty-eight have a full hotel page. Every one of them was validated by both place name and coordinates before it reached the site.

The rules we work to

• We help you choose, we do not merely list.
• Every recommendation needs evidence.
• Every hotel has a trade-off, and we publish it.
• Location is part of the hotel decision.
• No page exists only because a keyword exists.

What we are not

We have not stayed at these hotels and we do not pretend to have done. There is no team of travel experts behind this site, so we do not claim one. What we have is a consistent method, published in full on our methodology page, and applied identically to every property.

We also do not claim to be unbiased in an absolute sense, because that is not a testable statement. What is testable is this: our selection criteria are applied whether or not a booking link is available for a property.

Where the name comes from

Chateau is a brand name, not a category. This is not a site about castle hotels. It stands for careful selection and wine-country character, and the domain does not dictate what we cover.
